By the time you read this school supplies, school clothes, and school schedules will be competing for time and space with swimming, reunions, and all those lazy day activities we love. Though we haven't had classes for kids this summer, we adults have been meeting often to plan for the coming school year. All the pieces are not in place at this writing, but there are plans for Family Sundays when the whole family including kids in first grade and older will worship together. This will be a meaningful way for young people to be a part of and learn about our Episcopal liturgy, and why we do what we do. Watch your mail for more about this as plans come together.

Here are some dates and information to add to your calendar as you plan your fall schedule.

September 12 will be our first day. Classes will be in session for all youth, Preschool through 12th grade, and of course nursery care provided for those younger. Come meet old friends and new, and learn about plans for the year.

October 3 will be our first Family Sunday and also the day of the Crop Walk. St. Paul's will be the final stop on the Crop Walk this year! What a great opportunity to greet people of our community. We will be making the Crop Walk a focus in our September Sunday School classes, talking about the what, why, and how we can use this as a way of reaching out to others. We will encourage families to consider this as an activity they can do together.

We would very much like to have a St. Paul's T shirt for every young person by the first day of class. We have some new friends who don't have one and some who have outgrown the one they have. We will make a list of sizes needed and get an order out soon. Call Linda at 744-0377 if you need a shirt, or a bigger shirt! We may call you as well.
