St. Paul's is one of 59 congregations within the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan and one of four in the Muskegon area. We are also members of the National Episcopal Church. Links to these organizations are included. A link to the National Episcopal Church visitor's center will be of interest to newcomers looking for a more in-depth understanding of the Episcopal Church. The Wikipedia entry for the Episcopal Church provides an interesting perspective on our history.

Our services use the Book of Common Prayer and a three year cyclical lectionary. The liturgical calendar link includes the lessons and colors for each Sunday and Holy Days.

The Episcopal Church is a member of the Anglican Communion. We share this membership with 80 million people in 44 regional and national member churches around the globe in over 160 countries.

If an Anglican church is a member of the Anglican Communion, it is said to be "in communion", or "in communion with the See of Canterbury". If you are interested in what this means to us please review the following links.
